Take a walk, a run, or jump on your trail bike and enjoy the nearly 10 miles of trails located within the Laurel Hill Park, once part of the Lorton Prison. You can enter the park via Lorton Road to Giles Run Park or via Furnace Road or....take advantage of Lorton Valley access connector trails located at the end of Hundith Hill Court or Lakeland Fells Lane both located in the Lorton Valley North subdivision. Click on the link #1 below for general locations and directions to the trails. Click of link #2 for a more detailed look of the trail system. Directional maps are installed along Lorton Valley roads leading you to these to trails heads and a trail map is located at each trail head. Have fun, be safe, please help take care of our park system by taking any trash with you and disposing of it properly. and...last but not least....check for ticks!
